Hello! I’m a 24-year-old software engineer with a passion for building meaningful technology that makes a difference. Over the past two years, I've worked as a React-Native developer at FarmIQ, where I’ve built mobile apps that simplify compliance for farmers, ensuring even those with slower devices enjoy a seamless experience. My technical expertise extends beyond React-Native to SQL, Java/Kotlin APIs, and CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Software Engineering, and during my time at university, I completed projects that honed my skills in mobile development, algorithm design, and systems integration. One of my most fulfilling projects was creating a mobile air quality monitoring system using C++ and SQL databases, which further sparked my interest in building tech that has real-world impact.

Outside of tech, I’m an aviation enthusiast, an RC plane hobbyist, and a keen runner. I’ve even completed a few marathons, which has taught me the importance of perseverance and attention to detail—traits I carry into every project I work on.

As a React-Native developer at FarmIQ, I’ve spent the last two years building mobile solutions that simplify regulatory compliance for farmers, particularly with features like employee timesheets. My primary focus has been on developing high-performance react-native apps that ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, even on low-end devices. By optimising algorithms and creating responsive user interfaces, I was able to deliver solutions that handled complex background calculations without compromising app performance.

In addition to my work on the mobile front, I collaborated with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs built in Java/Kotlin, ensuring smooth communication between the app and our web platform. I also gathered and analysed data using SQL to inform future product features, ensuring our solutions were both data-driven and user-focused.

CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and optimising testing and deployment workflows to increase the reliability and speed of updates. This end-to-end experience, from frontend mobile development to backend integration, helped FarmIQ deliver robust, user-friendly tools that meet the evolving needs of customers.
